This ring was made by legendary Navajo artist (AJ) Alfred Joe with stunning Pilot Mountain Turquoise. Born in 1950, silversmith Alfred Joe currently lives in Winslow, Arizona where he produces his award winning jewellery. This ring is set with bright blue turquoise with a hint of golden brown matrix. The stone is set in a smooth sterling bezel and accented with sterling twist rope. Size of Setting: 1 1/8” by ½”.

Pilot Mountain Turquoise was first named Troy Springs Turquoise in the Montezuma Turquoise claims (1905) now called "Pilot Mountain mine" located in western Nevada.
